MINI MERINGUE NESTS BY SASTI
INGREDIENTS:
Make 8 meringue nests.
For the meringues:
2 medium eggs , at room temperature
100 g caster sugar.
For the filling:
150 ml double cream half a teaspoon of vanilla essence 225 g berries, such as strawberries, banana.
1- Heat the oven to 110º C.-
2- Separate the egg white from the yolk.
3-Whisk the egg whites with a whisk until they are really thick.
4-Add the sugar spoon by spoon and whisk.
5-Then, scoop spoonful of meringue.
6-Using a teaspoon, make a hollow in the middle of the meringue.
7-Put the meringue nests in the oven. Bake them for 40 minutes, turn off the oven leaving them 15 minutes in the oven.
8-Leave the nests on the baking trays to cool. Meanwhile, pour the cream and vanilla into a small bowl and whisk.
9- Wash the strawberries and cut the banana and the strawberries in small pieces. Finally put the vanilla and cream in the hollow and then put the fruit on the top.
