Let's visit London! by Sara


This city is the capital of England. It is 12 million inhabitants.

Buckingham Palace:

The Buckingham Palace is the Queen's official residence. The  Horse Guards guard the palace. In June, there is an interesting parade.



Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament:

This monument is a bell tower. The parliament is very close to the Big Ben. Some people of the Goverment work in the Houses of Parliament.


Red: London's colour:

The London's colour is the red. The telephone boxes, post boxes and buses are red. The telephone boxes are 101 years old. 









The Tower of London:

This tower is 907 years old. Today it is a museum, but it was a royal palace and a prison.




Tower Bridge:

This bridge is on the river Thames. It is 111 years old. From the bridge, there are fantastic views of London.
