A Post-it note (or sticky note) is a small piece of paper with a strip of glue on its back. It is used for notes or bookmarks.
It was invented by Arthur Fry, based on a previous accidental invention by Spencer Silver.
The original notes' yellow color was chosen by accident too.
In 2003, the company came out with ``Post-it Brand Super Sticky notes´´ with a stronger glue for vertical and non-smooth surfaces.
