A special school in Australia by Andrea

In Australia thousand of children live in the country. They do their classes at home by radio. They call this "the school of the Air".

The teachers of the Air talk from the radio and from internet, like school teachers. The teachers visit the students two days a year.

Some peaple live isolated in Australia and they do their homework and the lessons on the radio and they talk to the teachers with a telephone. It's a very special school.

Another peaple have a classroom at home. They decorate the room with maps and pictures. The parends helps the sons and daughters at home like teachers.

There are 16 schools of the air in old of Australia. Some schools have got 140 children. They're go to school four times a year. They do different activities with the teachers.

In summer some children go to a summer camp and they love the camp. The children meet other people and see's a school friends. They do a lot of sport and they sing's and dance.
