"FIFA 17" is a sport video game of FIFA series.  It was released on 27 September 2016 in North America and 29 September 2016 in the rest of the world. It is the first FIFA to use the new motor graphic, Frostbite. It has many game modes: "Fifa ultimate team", "The journey", "Going" and more... Now I'm going to explain you more about this game.
"The journey": This game mode is about a boy called Alex Hunter. Since he was a child dreams of being a soccer player like his father and his grandfather. One day Alex Hunter signs with a team of the premier that then transfers him to a team of English second division. Then they end up by returning to the Premier to do history...

The "career" mode is about a character that you create. You choose a team that you manage and you will be its coach. You have to buy players, look at the sales of t-shirts, send players to the first team and play the   matches that your team have to play. You cannot play and simulate. The matches will be played automatically.

WHO INVENTED BASKETBALL? BY Bixen

               

The inventor of the basketball was Dr. James Naismith. He was born on the 6th November 1861.  He was Canadian. He was a Physical Education teacher, and he had 2 wives and 5 children.

He studied physical education, and one rainy day, he invented basketball. He invented it when he had a PE class. He invented the most important rules of this sport. 

Thanks to the basketball, now we can play an outdoor and indoor game, because it's an inside and outside sport. This sport is very good to keep yourself fit. Now, the basketball is one of the most famous sport in the world. Everybody can play it and it's famous in all  continents. It's very easy to play: you have to shoot an orange ball through  a ring.

His first wife died in  1937, and the other in 1939. They died before their husband.
He died on the 19th November 1939.

                                           RUGBY

Although games similar to rugby were played a very long time ago, people say that rugby began at rugby public school in the town of rugby in the county of Warwickshire. Rugby is very  popular in Britain, France, South Africa, New Zealand , Australia and ...the Basque country.

                                 FOOTBALL

People started playing football in the 1100s, but public schools were the ones responsible for making the game into an organised team sport. Public schools encouraged their pupils to play football because it kept the boys fit and made them competitive.

                                  Netball ( similar to basketball )

         It's the British version of the American game basketball.   
         The goal  rings are on  posts about 3 metres high and  they            do not have a backboard. Over twenty million people play              netball in more than seventy countries.

                              HIGH JUMP

The first recorded high jump event took place in Scotland in the 19th century. The high jump is an Olympic sport. The men´s world high jump record is 2,45 metres. The women´s high jump record is 2.06 metres

One Direction at Madame Tussaud's by Ane .G

The five members of the group of One Direction, had two sittings in Madame Thousand in London because they wanted to create the  sculptures .The challenge was the boys playful cheeky smiles and showed their person personalities.


           Who was Madame Tussaud?
In the early 1800 Marie Tussaud was famous because she had a special talent for making was puppets. She opened  a permanent exhibition in London. It`s the most popular attraction!!! The fans love to give the boys kiss and have  their photograph taken with them.

Here Harry is having his head measured by the sculptors  assistants. To make  sculptures they did around 200 measurements and photos of each of One Direction boys. One direction loved the experience of the Madame Thousand.

Here Louis is placing his hand in a box filled with alginate he material dentist to make teeth impression.After two or three minutes the alginate material becomes a solid mould.This mould is created with plaster to produce a replica of Louis hand.

                                   Sculpting Zayn's head

To create the sculptor of 1D made a wire frame to form zayn's head and face.They constantly cheeked the star´s measurements using callipers.

Liam and the others 1D boys returned to the  studios. They spent 40 minutes sitting beside their models so that they sculptors were perfect!!!!!

THE LIFE OF A STAR BY LUCIA

1- New stars are born every day. They shine for a very long time and then they die.

2- The star is born in clouds. The cloud is called Nebula. The dust and gas are spinning      in clouds.

3- The gas and dust shrink and join to form lots of balls. This ball is a baby star.

4- At the end of a star life,  it makes 100 times bigger and it's called a Red giant.

5- A Red Giant shrinks into a White Dwarf.

6- After a very long time, the star cool down and ends its life.

This palace is the queens official resident.The  horse guards guard the palace.

Big Ben is the name of the bell, in the tower.The tower officially know is Elizabet tower.

The colour red is a important colour in London.

There a red boxes and red buses.

The tower of  London is 907 years old.There fantastic views of London.

Tower  bridge is on the on the river Themes.

The bridge is 111 years old.

In the Big Ben celebrate the diamond jubilee of Elizabet 2.

The tower of  is in the centre of London you can visit it because is  very famous.

A dog race in Alaska

  On 13th  February , there is a race between Alaska and Canada. The participants are: huskies and their "mushers". They race 1.650 kilometres on snow and ice. 

The dogs travel in separated compartimens in special trucks.

Because they ran 65 kilometres a veterinarian examines the dogs. The dogs have special bootees. The bootees protect the dogs from the cold. Dogs sleep on straw.

Today the Inuits don't live in igloos. They live in a normal house. They watch a lot of television.

In winter it is dark all day in Nunavut. The temperature can drop to -50ºC .The inuits wear caribou fur. They are trational inuit clothes.



At school they speak in English and Inuktitut.
The use snowmobiles to go to school, to visit friends and to go to Iqaluit, they use huskies dogs to go hunting.

  Hawaii is the USA`s 50th state. Its first inhabitants

 came from Polynesia. Read all about these extraordinary island.

Hawaii is on the Pacific Ocean. They are more of eight islans and one of that it name is Hawaii. All of them are volcanic and very montainous. The capital of the state of Hawaii is Honululu.

 Apart. from many different types of fish, there are sea turtles, whales and dolphins in the sea around Hawaii.

This girl is a Hula dancer. The Hula is a traditional Hawaiian dance. Flowers always form part of a Hula dancer`s costume.




A traditional sport in Hawaii is the surfing. The sport started in Hawaii in 1905. Children in Hawaii start surfing when they are very young.

Another sport which is very popular in Hawaii is canoeing. It is  Hawaii`s national sport. Hawaii`s national sport. Hawaiians call it "paddling". In Hawaii are a lots of  canoeing clubs in Hawaii.

Another traditional dance in Hawaii is the dance "haka". That dance come from Polynesia there is a traditional dance. Hawaiians dance the haka before they go canoeing.
